This last weekend was spent in Las Vegas shooting an enagagement for Teresa Farnsworth and Mike Mayall. Two very outstanding subjects with with will to do something cool and the looks that photographers dream of. The production crew was happy with the mild temperatures as we shot in the evening along the Las Vegas strip and during the day at Red Rock Canyon. This is just the beginning as we will be coming for round two in April for their wedding at the Ritz Carlton Lakes Las Vegas. Family will be coming from far and wide and we cannot wait!

We braved the cold Christmas weather at downtown Prescott Arizona for some great family portraits. Thank you Wang family for the fun afternoon. You did a great job!

This weekend brought great weather and great people. Meeting Tani and Megan at Granite Creek Park was just a perfect example of how the weekend went. Tani just loves her miniature Snouser Megan. Megan has such a trusting calm demeanor that even a stranger can help pick her up to get into the right position for a shot. I was utterly amazed that she was so calm and just went with the flow of the photo shoot. You can just tell Tani and Megan are two peas in a pod and share the forever relationship that best friends have. Tani is a local teacher and has the same type of calm character about herself as Megan. Both were such a pleasure to work with and you can see some of their work here.

The Bacon family were so enthused about having their images taken that we have never had the kids ask if we wanted help with our equipment. We only spent a little time together but it was fun and productive. Everyone had enthusiasm and energy which is what we like about our Family Photo Safaris. We are able to take families on a little adventure so interest stay at peak conditions for the photography sessions and the family has images they can cherish for years to come. Embry – Riddle Aeronautical University is always a great place to do some architectural photography. Recently we were contracted by a Kane Architecture to photograph one of their recently completed projects. We love it when the subject lends itself to the photography. The Amercian Institute of Architects in New England recently awarded Kane Architecture with its 2009 AIA Merit award for Design Excellance. How great it must be to be reckognized for your hard work and vision. Thank you for letting us photograph your design! Check out the AIA website here

Recently my friend of 15 years Greg and I came up with an idea to bring awareness to our communities on some of the things we can do to make a difference in the lives of others and wjat we can do for our communities. While cleaning trash along the roadside is nothing new. The concept of one person taking it across the country is still a fairly untapped venture. Check out this video we created to help further our cause

October 10, 2009 5:30 PM on the rooftop of the Hassayampa Inn’s Marina room in Prescott, Arizona. A ceremony will be taking place that will be joining Colleen and Mike. Shes a nurse that keeps him anchored and he is a trucker that challenges her. It was great getting to know something about them and their past. We had a great time downtown with them and we hope their dreams come true.

After spending a few days in Flagstaff, Arizona I could see why it is considered the gateway to the southwest. From the bustle of the shops along the old downtown one way streets to the beautiful attractions of its native past Flagstaff offers an ambiance all it own.
